Each newspaper's NIE program is unique. Programs may include:

Classroom sets of newspapers offered at special rates to area schools and other educational settings
Lesson plans and curricula and reproducible worksheets and graphic organizers
Educational materials that cover a range of subjects and grade levels, including sections and features that run in the newspaper Teaching workshops
Contests
Web sites
Special sections written by and for young readers
Newspaper tours and classroom speakers
